Tracie Young

You can hear Tracie Young - Monday to Saturday between 10am and 2pm on Chelmsford Radio 107.7, playing Just Great Songs and giving you more chances to win on The Trivia Trail.
Tracie has lived in Essex most of her life, grew up in Chelmsford and was educated there too.
In her teenage years and early twenties, Tracie was a singer. After getting married she ran pubs for a number of years, had 2 children and dabbled in other careers before deciding that radio was for her. Since 1999 she has been a producer, traffic presenter and is no stranger to the Chelmsford airwaves with evening and breakfast shows on Chelmsford Radio's predecessor.
Tracie lives with her children, cats and dog. She is a passionate supporter of Havens Hospices, mad about music and has supported Spurs for 24 years. She also loves a good thriller, a good curry and a good red wine. Her CD collection has everything from Tony Bennett to the Foo Fighters. On Saturday's, listen out for The Classic Album where she plays 4 tracks from a potential contemporary classic or an established "classic" album, plus a bit about the album's history and artist.
